Having joined Regional Express as Business Development Manager in September, Michael specialises in post-Brexit customs procedures. Michael has been actively connecting with, and onboarding prospective clients, who shall be using our national and international freight forwarding services.
Michael comments ‘The last two months have been exceptionally exciting as we have extended our client base from solely Amazon SPN’s, to now include the full retail and ecommerce market. RX is part of the Delamode Logistics Group which means that alongside our ability to transport goods via road, sea, and air, we are also able to store and handle customer goods at our port-centric warehouse facility. Based in Southampton Port, alongside our prime location, our customers have access to a complete freight forwarding service that can include devanning, depolarising and labelling, and storage facilities.
The RX team has made me feel very welcome and it is a pleasure to work alongside a supportive and knowledgeable team who are so focused on providing exceptional customer care. Together, we have launched our Smart Border service which provides our customers access to brokers on both sides of the channel, helping to reduce overheads by removing unnecessary delays at the border. We are inviting new and existing customers to get in touch regarding our Smart Border service.
In terms of the year ahead, I am looking forward to a more stable 2024 regarding industry pricing, as the market starts to return to the pre-covid standards that we were used to. I look forward to introducing our unique portfolio of services to new customers and creating customised solutions that suit all sizes of business.”
