Congratulations to Colden Common Rangers for their fine league win over Winchester this weekend. After trailing to an early goal in torrential rain they managed to equalize just before half time and grabbed a winner in the second half after a confident display. Regional Express is proud to be the sponsors of Colden Common Rangers and wish them continued success for the rest of the season.

“Away today at the unbeaten league leaders – St Francis Rangers. We won 2-0 and played, especially in the 2nd half, brilliantly!
Hard work in the 1st half and Henry (our goalie) kept us in it with a couple of magnificent saves and then Sam scored. 1-0 at the break.
In the 2nd half Charlie, who plays just in front of the three, was superb. Winning tackles, closing down, heading clear and then capped his performance by scoring the second goal.
Their attack was quite useful, but our back three and goalie, didn’t give St Francis much of a look in. Proper defending!! George defended like Simon Francis should do (Eric, John and Stephen!!) – covering well and tight to the winger who never got a cross in all game!!
All the boy worked tirelessly and we deserved to win. Great effort.
We’re still 2nd, but now only a point behind the leaders St Francis.
Next week we’re away at Hythe – we’ve just got to keep playing with this intensity and we should be OK this season.”
